My passion for coffee began during childhood. I still remember the creamy taste of coffee mixed with milk and sweetened by panela. Sharing those sips of café con leche with family was pure bliss.

Having coffee with family and friends is a way of life in Colombia’s Coffee Triangle. Whether enjoying a café con leche during breakfast or an afternoon tinto, there's always enough time to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Coffee has remained a guiding force in my life. As a young adult, I proudly owned and operated a coffee shop in Colombia before deciding to sell it and move to the United States. I continued working with coffee in Vero Beach, Florida, where I met my husband, Justin.

When we visited Colombia together, I took him to the different coffee growing towns within Valle de Cauca so he could experience my world firsthand. It didn’t take him long to fully understand how much I loved specialty coffee, especially when he saw how much coffee I stuffed into my suitcase for us to enjoy once we returned home!

Colombian coffee is naturally sweet and smooth, but small batch Colombian specialty coffee is an entirely different level of deliciousness. I found myself sharing the coffee with others and soon realized I had a viable business opportunity.

In 2021, I launched Coffea Specialty Coffee with the goal to share the best of Colombia with people around the world. By working directly with producers—primarily small family-run farms in Ansermanuevo, Valle del Cauca—we can guarantee each step of the process (from cultivation to cup) is handled with care. This traditional process ensures full traceability and quality in every bean.

Our philosophy of connecting people also includes the farmers who work tirelessly to share this coffee with us. We support them by providing fair payment for their harvest, this helps coffee-growing families thrive while bringing people exceptional, single-origin coffee.

Our coffees are characterized by their sweetness, silky body, notes of citrus, red fruits and chocolate. Each batch is thoughtfully harvested, selected and roasted to develop and deliver the best coffee possible.
